Instructional Technology Center

The Instructional Technology Center (ITC), located on the 2nd floor in Fayerweather Hall, is a facility designed to provide faculty with resources that aren't available to them within their own departments. Currently the ITC houses four state of the art Dell computers equipped with 3.4GHz Pentium 4 processors, 1GB of RAM, 80GB hard drives, DVD-RW/CDRW, USB card readers that read 8 different types of digital media cards, firewire ports and front USB 2.0 ports and 18" Flat Panel monitors. Also in the ITC is a powerful dual processor Macintosh G5 with DVD and CD burning capability.

If you need to scan slides, documents or photographs, the ITC also has a slide scanner, a multipage document scanner and a photo scanner with color correction and restoration.

The ITC computers also have numerous software programs installed that may not be widely available on campus such as Adobe Creative Suite (includes the full version of PhotoShop 8, Acrobat, Go Live, Illustrator and more), PhotoShop Elements (for those who want to edit photos in a simpler fashion than the full PhotoShop version provides), Snag-It ( the award-winning screen capture program, captures images, text, and video to enhance documentation, presentations, training and more), Microsoft Movie Maker video capture and editing software, Sonic MyDVD video capture and editing software, DVD-burning software, CD-burning software, Macromedia StudioMX (Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash, etc.), Authorware, Media Source digital audio editing software and more new things all the time.
